This is a painting inspired by the late Sharon Jones.  She was a strong and beautiful singer that always brought her funky dance moves and soulful voice to the stage.  I got to see her several times and her lively energy was contagious and she had a voice that was so amazing and raw.  The butterflies resemble her spirit flying off to new places after her recent passing from cancer.  She didn't release her first album until she was 40.
